2025 International Women's day: FORVIA is celebrating women in Operations!

With diversity in the DNA of FORVIA, the Group remains committed to building an inclusive and gender-diverse work environment and we are making determined progress towards our 2030 objective of 35% women managers and skilled professionals (M&Ps) and 30% in the top 300 positions. As of the end of 2024, we counted around 32% women M&Ps (vs 24% in 2019), 36% of our new hires were women (vs 26% in 2019) and 27% of them had joined our top 300[1].
FORVIA’s ongoing commitment to an inclusive workplace
As a global company, we truly believe that our success depends on the diversity of our talents and perspectives, and we keep running a variety of initiatives in favor of a more diverse and inclusive workforce throughout the Group: training to support female leadership and promote an inclusive culture, development of potentials, targeted recruitment, coaching and mentoring for female employees, recognition programs, highlighting women's careers in our communications, onboarding and connecting events, etc.
Celebrating Women in Operations
This year, FORVIA is celebrating International Women’s Day with a focus on Operational jobs (Production, Logistics, Manufacturing engineering, Quality…) which are at the heart of our activities in 40+ countries and account for 25.8% female out of 8,300 positions M&Ps[2]. This is above the industry average (20% women at leading positions in 2022 in France according to INSEE) and keeps increasing but still needs specific efforts. In addition to training, coaching and mentoring programs, the Group keeps on fostering gender diversity by developing targeted recruitment and internal promotion to leader roles in the plants.
