Promoting gender equality in recruitment and careers
Promoting gender diversity
As a truly global company with operations in 43 countries and 150 nationalities in our workforce, diversity is in the DNA of FORVIA. That's why the group is committed to creating a truly gender-diverse work environment.
FORVIA aims to build an inclusive workplace that offers equal opportunities to all and ensures that everyone is promoted based on their performance and potential. It is a fundamental driver of the group's transformation, as a more diverse and inclusive workforce acts as a key catalyst for changing mindsets and fostering innovation.
We have set ambitious objectives in this direction: 30% of women among the top 300 leaders and 35% of women among managers and professionals by 2030. We will reach them through a variety of diversity and inclusion initiatives that are systematically and rigorously rolled out throughout the Group and intensified over the years: training to support female leadership and promote an inclusive culture, development of targeted recruitment, coaching and mentoring programs for female employees, and highlighting women's careers in our communications.
We recognize the importance of accounting for cultural specificities, and this approach strengthens our resolve to promote diversity and inclusion in every corner of our organization. We can count on our 60 strong and active D&I Champions around the world to inspire good practices and raise awareness about unconscious biases.
Lastly, we make sure to promote the achievements of women and highlight our female talents by sharing their experiences through monthly internal webinars and testimonials on LinkedIn.
Clear objectives for 2030
Attracting female talents to the industrial sector
FORVIA places particular emphasis on the role of women in various engineering professions. As an employer, increasing the proportion of female employees in technical and engineering roles is one of FORVIA's top priorities.
In 2023, the Group joined forces with the 12th edition of the Women in Industry Awards. The Group sponsored the ‘Production Women’ category in order to promote women in industrial jobs and make these positions more attractive to women. This initiative made it possible to highlight the Group’s women in various areas.
The Group carries out actions to improve its attractiveness among female engineering students with initiatives such as the “Women in engineering day” :
