At FORVIA, the Blue Effect is the transformative power of sustainability in action. It's the result of our actions, whether small or large, towards a more sustainable future for our industry. When it comes to products, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our “using less, better, and longer” approach, which guides us in choosing new materials and developing new processes. MATERI'ACT supports these efforts by developing low carbon materials in its two product lines: compounds and foils, strengthening FORVIA’s Blue Effect and helping us achieve our sustainability goals. MATERI’ACT is part of a comprehensive approach for the company and is a key differentiator.  

Since its creation two years ago, MATERI’ACT has shown glimpses of what a sustainable automotive industry can be through its creation of a wide range of sustainable materials, including Inicycled-P and NafiLean, among many others. Inicycled-P turns what would otherwise be discarded into a high-performing material, while NafiLean reduces weight and is made with recycled content. These and our other sustainable innovations, already in use by our partner OEMs in their latest models, deliver solutions that meet the market’s demand for high performance and environmental responsibility.
