This is the first time FORVIA will be working with Hyundai-Kia to supply seating comfort solutions for vehicles that will be produced and sold outside the Korean market.
 
“This fully illustrates our ability to support many Asian automakers in their international expansion”, said @Stephane NOEL, Executive Vice President of FORVIA Seating.
 
This project includes seating solutions for three Hyundai and KIA models, which are scheduled to go on sale in Europe and the United States starting in 2027.
 
Hyundai-Kia selected a compact four-way adjustable pneumatic lumbar support system, designed and manufactured by FORVIA.
 
In addition, FORVIA has also extended its cooperation with Hyundai-Kia for the supply of seat frames and mechanisms.
 
Currently, around 2.8 million Hyundai-Kia vehicles equipped with FORVIA technology are sold in South Korea each year, and a total of 4.6 million are sold globally.

After the successful series launch for rear lighting, this innovation now moves to the front, driving the industry trend toward miniaturization.

Powered by FlatLight | µMX micro-optic technology — with lenses smaller than a grain of salt — it enables:

🔷 80% less installation space (5 mm instead of 40 mm for conventional lights),
🔷 a design that is 80% lighter and 40% more energy-efficient,
🔷 distinctive, high-performance light signatures.

At the front, a single FlatLight module can combine daytime running light, indicator, and position light, offering a compact, efficient, and cost-effective lighting solution.
