FORVIA equips 2023 European Car of the Year Jeep Avenger
FORVIA is proud to equip the Jeep Avenger, voted European Car of the Year, as well as providing key technologies for almost all the finalists in this 60th edition of the competition.
Car of the Year reviews and ranks new cars on the European market, thanks to the expert views of 57 automotive journalists from 22 countries. Among a strong line-up in 2022 that included many electric vehicles, this year’s winner was the Jeep Avenger. It features from FORVIA: door panels, hot and cold end technologies and multiple energy management and environmental sensors. A range of interiors, seating, electronics and lighting solutions are also featured in six out of seven on the final shortlist, including the second and third ranked vehicles – VW ID Buzz and Nissan Ariya.
For VW’s first fully-electric vehicle ID Buzz, FORVIA provides door and instrument panels, complete seats, electronics including a keyless access solution and accelerator pedal sensors as well the distinctive VW front and rear lighting. FORVIA equips the Nissan Ariya, an electric SUV, with seating cushions, mechanisms and latest generation backrest, in addition to environment and position sensors and a customized center console.
